Parti & Poche

Parti & Poche are the beaux-Arts terms to describe two quite separate and yet complimentary aspects in architectural design. Parti, literally meaning "party line" is a diagram which outlines the essence of spatial organisation of a building plan or elevation. It assists in reaching an understanding of the building as a pattern. Poche expresses the spatial quality of a building.
